Fretting and Tribocorrosion of Modular Dual Mobility Liners: Role of Design, Microstructure, and Malseating Modular dual mobility (DM) bearings have a junction between a cobalt chrome alloy (CoCrMo) liner and titanium shell, and the risk of tribocorrosion at this interface remains a concern.
