Shiseido Urban Environment Sun Dual Care SPF 42 I’ve been on the hunt for what I thought was a clear, mineral sunscreen from Dr. Brandt. I wanted to try it before I bought it. I tried Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Sephora. Macy’s carries Dr. Brandt’s products online but not in the store. Not helpful. In the meantime, I learned that the dropper used in Dr. Brandt’s Liquid Mineral Shield is terrible, inadequate for the thick liquid. Also, the thick-ish white liquid doesn’t sound very appealing after all. Like with foundation (although I am very happy with Cover FX Total Coverage Cream Foundation), I am constantly looking for a sunscreen that ticks off all my boxes: lightweight, not greasy, no white cast, no “radiant glow” which is another word for a shiny coating, with a matte or velvet finish. I have a couple of sunscreens that I like the feel of on my skin – Coola Sun Silk Drops, Innisfree Daily UV Defense – but they are chemical sunscreens and contain some ingredients I would like to avoid.
