Expo // Typefaces in het Industriemuseum. 11.07.2025 - 22.02.2026. Letters zijn overal, van koppen in de krant tot signalisatie langs de weg.
Van affiches die je vrolijk toeschreeuwen tot de brief die je streng
aanspreekt. Met vette lijnen, zwierige rondingen of strenge hoeken: de
keuze van de letters zet de boodschap kracht bij. Typografie blijft vaak
onopgemerkt, maar is een unieke kunstvorm waarin vakmanschap en
creativiteit samenkomen. Reden genoeg voor het Industriemuseum om er een
expo aan te wijden.

Long live the Black Arts / Visiting the collection of project Letter-Kunde by Patrick Goossens in Antwerp (BE) Our latest field excursion took us to Antwerp, where we had the privilege
of visiting project Letter-Kunde, the extensive and unique collection by
Patrick Goossens. Patrick is widely known within our community—not only as
a dedicated historian and passionate collector, but also as a long-time
advisor at the Museum of Industry (Ghent) and Plantin-Moretus (Antwerp) and
a treasurer of AEPM. Many of us have crossed paths with him over the years
at conferences, book and print fairs.
