Qasir Ghumdan, Sana'a, Yemen
Ghumdan Palace, the world’s earliest palace and skyscraper. Built In the 1st century by the King Amr ibn Jaafar ibn Humayr ibn Al-Muntab ibn Amr ibn Zaid ibn Yaafur ibn Al-Siksek, known as Yaser Yun'im.
The palace was destroyed by Abrahah Al-Hubashi and restored several times. The palace history is represented in numerous legends and tales. It is mentioned in many pieces of Arabic poetry, the poets singing about its beauty. Today is part of the UNESCO world heritage site of the old city of Sana'a Yemen.
