28mm Classical Greeks: Cavalry I had set a goal of June 1st for my Greek and Persian project. Here it is April 19th, and it is done! These four Greek cavalry units complete the project. This is the first set of units that I am not completely happy with. The sculpts are great, but my painting has let them down. They will do for my own gaming.

28mm Classical Greeks: Peltasts and Psiloi The Commands and Colors rules for "auxilia" seem written with classical peltasts in mind. These troops can fight as close-order infantry or skirmish with javelins.I used the same figures for the Greek psiloi, or light footI was hoping to be done with the Greek army before June 1st, and I will definitely make that goal. I only have four cavalry units left to paint!

28mm Classical Greeks: Hoplites I had already painted enough Crusader Miniatures hoplites to field most of a Greek army for Commands and Colors. All I lacked was three heavy infantry bases. These miniatures are all from Old Glory. The front rank is hoplites thrusting, and the rear rank is hoplites advancing. All shields are hand painted.I also bought a pack of hoplite command to make up my general stands.
