In Linux it is enough to copy the whole HDL repo and continue a build somewhere else. just the project folder is not enough, since there are libraries and other dependencies. I'm guessing this should work the same way in Windows. But my suggestion is to save your work in scripts, like the way you build the design. In this way you can use a version control tools like git. If you just want to share a design build, try to use the archive feature of Vivado. Andrei
