Aer Lingus flights earing to AA - missing miles - denied Dear FT Hive mind:

Recently flew Aer Lingus, in economy, LIN-DUB-IAD on a oneway ticket. My AA number was in the reservation.

Miles did not post, filed a missing miles request with AA, came back today as "the airline has denied this request...
