His final-round draw against Ediz Gürel ensured victory as Anish Giri defeated Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, the only player who could have caught him. In the Challengers section, Nodirbek Yakubboev claimed first place after defeating Jonas Buhl Bjerre in a blitz tiebreak.
