Delta's Basic economy worse than Spirit Airline's basic economy?

I'm flying jfk-arn (stockholm) in a couple of months, one way.
Delta is non-stop but have to book Main Cabin to select a seat, which is +$130 over BE. (I want an aisle seat).
TAP air is $300 cheaper with seat...
