The Ministry of AYUSH highlighted that traditional health systems such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy are now witnessing strong international demand, strengthening India’s global wellness footprint.
Union Health Minister J. P. Nadda, addressing the 60th OPPI Summit via video message, noted that AYUSH-based solutions are increasingly being integrated with modern healthcare, creating new opportunities for research, innovation, and therapeutic exports.
Experts say the expanding AYUSH market reflects India’s rising influence in natural and holistic health, though further work is needed in standardization and scientific validation to sustain this momentum.
