The Norfolk Hospice officially opens Ray’s Place
After three years of planning and hard work, The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House has officially opened Ray’s Place, a dedicated space for our day therapy patients.
The ribbon was cut at Ray’s Place by its namesake, Ray Daniels, on Friday 10th September 2021.
The project was made possible due to a generous donation from Ray, who was keen to support us.
The project to build Ray’s Place began in late 2018 when plans were drawn up to build the cabin as an extra space for the Therapy team to provide creative activities and workshops, such as their Living Life Creatively and Men’s Woodwork groups.
Ray’s Place sits within the Hospice’s garden and has a seating area, equipment and tools, crafting materials and a kitchen.
