Items proposed for consideration at the next meeting of Dispute Settlement Body The WTO Secretariat has circulated a meeting notice and list of items proposed for the next meeting, on 24 May 2024, of the Dispute Settlement Body, which consists of all WTO members and oversees legal disputes among them. The meeting notice is circulated in the form of a document officially called an “airgram”.

Mauritius formally accepts Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies Mauritius deposited its instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies on 13 May, advancing the tally of formal acceptances to 75. Ambassador Usha Chandnee Dwarka-Canabady presented Mauritius’s instrument of acceptance to Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Lao PDR formally accepts Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies The Lao People’s Democratic Republic (PDR) deposited its instrument of acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies on 13 May. Ambassador Latsamy Keomany presented Lao PDR’s instrument of acceptance to Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
